Greetings, Fellow Atheists!

Postby Al Stefanelli » Thu Apr 14, 2011 16:24

This link was posted on my United Atheist Front Facebook Page by Adrian Raijin Gaines, who I would like to thank for letting approximately ten thousand people know about this site.

My name is Al Stefanelli, I am the President of United Atheist Front, Inc., a civil rights organization and anti-discrimination advocacy group. (http://www.unitedatheistfront.com) We also maintain a very active Facebook page and Twitter account. Any info you need on the UAF is available at the website.

I am a writer and journalist. I write for the National Atheism Examiner and Associated Content, and have submitted freelance work throughout the web. I maintain a few blogs, as well.

I am also the author of "A Voice Of Reason In An Unreasonable World - The Rise Of Atheism On Planet Earth," which is available in paperback and just about every digital format out there. There's a link below my signature picture for more info.

I am a strong atheist and an anti-theist and look forward to meeting and greeting some fellow antagnonists!

Hi Al. Nice to meet ya. Strong atheist/anti-theist here, too. I grew up a fundamentalist Christian, morphed into a very liberal Christian in my twenties, finally abandoned theism altogether in my thirties. Now, in my fifties, I'm very comfortable and confident in my atheism. I doubt that there's any major pro-God argument that I haven't already heard and soundly debunked to my own satisfaction.
People who don't like their beliefs being laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefs.

Heya, Brad.

Grew up secular catholic. No religious influence in the house. Attended church on Christmas and Easter, mainly for appearances. Got into religion in 1991. Ordained Baptist Pastor for 13 years. Walked away from it six years ago. Blame it on Gilgamesh! Like you, I've heard all the arguments, debated most of them. They are all, for lack of a better word, bullshit. There are no gods, never have been. We just attached human characteristics to the things we did not understand in the infancy of the evolution of our species. Nice to meet you!

I'd think it must have been tough to admit to having stopped believing when you were making your living as a pastor.

Great, another "atheist organization." Oh well. Welcome anyway.
