I horribly disliked the interview on GMOs. The person being interviewed told things that where demonstrably falsehoods, such as people getting sick from breathing in pollen from BT corn. It may of course be that corn pollen in general is dangerous, but it is probably not due to the BT component, which needs an akaline stomach environment (we have an acidic), a special protease that cleaves the pro-protein (we don't have it, only a special kind insect do) and a specific receptor on the stomach lining (that we do not have, only a special insect do). So there are three different criteria that needs to be met for it to have any effects. Furthermore, as correlation does not imply causation, reactions might as well be due to chemical pesticides, which does produce respiratory problems, but BT corn is designed to eliminate and scale back the usage of chemical pesticides enormously.
