You know how in Hitchhiker's Guide there are these two colony arks, the first with all the useful people and the second with all the useless people? Every time I turn the TV on, I get the feeling I'm watching a slice of life in the second ark.

Hee! Yeah, most likely. It would be one of the ways they'd survive the tedium of doing all that useful stuff. ;-)
