Cookie not working

Postby Sparx » Sun Nov 07, 2010 20:19

Each time there's a new reply to a thread, I receive an email with a link to it.
Each time I click on a link, it makes me log in, even though I check the "Log me on automatically each visit" box.
I figure there's something wrong with the site's cookies.

I'll look into it.
People who don't like their beliefs being laughed at shouldn't have such funny beliefs.

Hey, the issue seems to have disappeared now. Thanks.

Edit: Crap, it just happened again...

How's that working now? If it's not working as it should, have you tried clearing your cookies?

If you're using Firefox, you don't have to clear all your cookies, just the ones related to GOTG, like so:

* Tools / Options / Privacy
* Click the "Show Cookies..." button.
* In the list that pops up, find the appropriate set of cookies and click it to highlight it. In this case, the name you're looking for will be, of course, "graveyardofthegods.com".
* Click the "Remove Cookie" button.

(I don't know whether or not there's a similar procedure for IE.)
